Bangalore Dogs
There are an estimated 70,000 dogs in Bangalore. It is believed to have the largest stray population in India. Attempts to control the stray population has been unsuccessful, so far.
The government is attempting to catch these dogs and place them elsewhere. Meanwhile, the biggest thing people can do is to not throw food in the garbage. This food attracts strays that fight over it and become more aggressive to other animals and people.

Be sure to do daily grooming. Check ears for wax and cut nails. Check regularly for fleas and ticks.
Be sure your pets eat a well balanced diet. De-worm the dog every three months if a meat eater and every six months if a vegetarian.
