Indian Hiring
Indian training schools have not been able to keep up with the demand for computer professionals. Companies hire experienced people because they want individuals who are already trained and are productive fast. People hired through school recruitment usually require about six months to be productive.
New employees are often hired at over 50% increase of their previous salary and expect a 10% raise every six months or they leave.
While multinationals are willing to pay extra high salaries for employees, it places the costs of training on smaller Indian companies and leaves them with a shortage of the people they need.
